Last week, our AVS Lab organized the first "Autonomous Vehicle Lab Workshop" in Burghausen together with the Chair of Automotive Engineering. A total of 33 doctoral students from the two chairs met for two intensive days of exchange and discussion. The workshop was characterized by in-depth discussions about future research perspectives, new vehicle concepts and emerging research topics in the field of autonomous vehicles. Participants had the opportunity to contribute their diverse perspectives and ideas to shed light on the challenges and opportunities of this rapidly evolving industry. In addition to discussing innovative technologies, the workshop also focused on promoting efficient working methods. Through group work and interactive sessions, participants were able to develop their skills and learn from each other. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with colleagues from different disciplines and work together on new ideas and we look forward to the next workshop in 2025.
