After nearly 2 years of development and participation in the Indy Autonomous Challenge organized races in Indianapolis (October 2021) and CES in Las Vegas (January 2022), we are pleased to present the main results of this work in a new Journal article of the Journal of Field Robotics. Our paper describes in detail the autonomous driving software stack that our TUM Autonomous Motorsport team developed to participate in the two competitions. In the final competition in Las Vegas, we achieved speeds over 270 km/h and lateral accelerations up to 28 m/s2near - all fully autonomous - with this software stack. Have fun reading!
