My next ride is a Robot 🤖! Together with Felix Jahncke our lab kicked off the new winter semester at TUM with a new practical course called “F1TENTH: Autonomous Driving Hands-on”.
Our students get a small-scale autonomous vehicle and learn to code, implement, and optimize autonomous driving software.
Each week, we learn about new algorithms and demonstrate how the car will learn to drive better every time.
Especially I am happy to see that we have 15 students from six nations 🇩🇪 🇨🇳 🇹🇳 🇪🇬 🇮🇷 🇦🇹, which demonstrates how intercultural and diverse our university and TUM School of Engineering and Design (ED) is.
