Our AVS Lab offered a new and innovative lecture called “Future Mobility Camp” as part of Project Week 2025. The week from January 13 to 17 was dedicated to the topic of future-oriented mobility and combined theory with practical elements.
Students had the opportunity to engage intensively with the challenges and opportunities of future mobility in a mixture of lectures, workshops and practical sessions. The week offered a wide range of content, including lectures on autonomous shuttles, autonomous trucks and the technological foundations of autonomy. The program was complemented by practical sessions focusing on real-life applications of autonomous driving systems.
A central element was the participants' independent project work. Innovative ideas were developed in workshops and presented at the end of the week. Supported by brainstorming sessions and input from experts, including representatives of the TUM Venture Labs, the students were able to develop creative and interdisciplinary approaches.
The project week illustrated how TUM promotes practical teaching and interdisciplinary work in order to actively contribute to shaping the mobility of tomorrow. We look forward to next year!
