Task: Qualitative Data Collection, Survey Distribution, and Workshop Assistance for the DREAMS project
Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's/Master's program at a Munich university or college, preferably in one of the following fields: Urban and Regional Planning, Urban Design, Transportation Planning, Human Geography, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
Knowledge of or willingness to learn about qualitative urban and mobility planning approaches.
Willingness to do on-site data collection in the municipalities of Wolfratshausen and Geretsried.
Strong social skills for conducting surveys, assisting in workshops, and gathering qualitative data.
Ability to work independently.
German Proficiency (minimum C1 level) as well as good written and spoken skills in English.
What we offer
We are an international team that offers insights into scientific practice and the opportunity to work on insightful research projects. We encourage participation in internal meetings, project appointments, and workshops. The working hours are at least 8h/week and can be flexibly determined in consultation with the team. The position starts as soon as possible and is limited until October 2025; an extension is possible. Working in the office (TUM Campus Munich Downtown) or remotely is possible. Payment is in accordance with the standards for student assistants at TUM.
About us
The Chair of Urban Structure and Transport Planning focuses on sustainable and integrated mobility planning in urban, rural, and regional areas in teaching, research, and practice. In various projects, the Research Group Accessibility Planning is investigating how integrated land use and transportation planning can be supported by accessibility aspects.
