With the BMVI-funded research project SAVeNow another flagship project is starting for the Chair of Traffic Engineering.
Under the consortium leadership of Audi, SAVeNoW is researching a digital twin of urban traffic using the example of Ingolstadt, with the help of which questions in the domains of traffic efficiency, safety, ecology and social acceptance are analysed and answered by solution scenarios with associated measures.
The chair is significantly involved in the methodology and validation of the traffic control concept for Lane Free Traffic.
