Last Friday, we had the pleasure to welcome our colleague Prof. Markos Papageorgiou from the Technical University of Crete to discuss recent research on lane-free traffic for connected and automated vehicles. In a workshop, Prof. Papageorgiou, Prof. Bogenberger and several researchers from the chair of Traffic Engineering and Control presented and discussed their work and research ideas on this innovative topic. This interesting workshop paves the way for further collaborations between the two universities.
Thanks to everyone attending and contributing!
Special thanks to the DFG that funded the workshop within our project " Simulation and organization of future lane-free traffic".
