Remaking The Sreet Summer School
General Discription
A four module program that takes place on-line and in-person during summer open for 30+ International participants mainly from the EIT Urban Mobility Master School and open to public.
Module 1 – MOOC Streets Experiments for Sustainable and Resilient cities
Module 2 – Online course „Planning the Streets of the Future“ by Humankind
Module 3 – In presence lectures, workshops, site visits and hands-on activities (building a Parklet) in Munich.
Module 4 – In presence lectures, workshops, site visits and hands-on activities (Tile flipping) in Rotterdam.
Participants learn about Street Experiments, Accessibility, The 15-Min City, Climate Shelters, communication, citizen engagement, design and more!
Objectives
- Find links between accessibility, mobility and public space to design streets for people.
- Close the gap between research and practice regarding street experiments.
- Learn how to plan and design a Street Experiment.
- Learn tools to monitor and evaluate Street Experiments
