Description
As part of the elective module 'Lecture Series: Future of Mobility` current issues of science and practice in the transport sector are presented. Often the topics addresses regional aspects in the field of transportation. But also international topics, which will be presented in English are in the focus of the different speakers. Each semester every presentation will be held on a specific framework topic. These framework topics deal with the following aspects of transport:
• Mobility (e.g. mobility concepts of the different transport modes, electro mobility, public transport concepts, transport in Urban Areas)
• Traffic Telematics (e.g. driver assistance systems, communication between vehicles and infrastructure, automated driving)
• Financing concepts in transport (e.g. toll, Public Private Partnerships)
• Environmental aspects of transport (e.g. sustainability, noise, pollutants)
• Traffic safety
