Hema Sharanya Rayaprolu studied Civil Engineering at Amrita School of Engineering in India between 2008 and 2012. From 2012 to 2014, she worked as an Engineer in the Transport Infrastructure department of Larsen & Toubro Limited in India. Following which, she enrolled for the M.Sc. Transportation Systems program at the Technical University of Munich in 2014. Alongside her studies at the university, she worked as a Student Research Assistant at the Chair of Urban Structure and Transport Planning; the Chair of Road, Railway and Airfield Construction; and at the Modeling Spatial Mobility Research Group. She also interned at PTV Transport Consult GmbH for 3 months in 2016. After completing the master’s program in 2017, she joined the Modeling Spatial Mobility Research Group as a Research Associate.
