FleetPy simulation tool for modeling and evaluating on-demand fleets now available on GitHub

The simulation tool FleetPy for modeling and evaluating mobility on-demand mobility fleets was developed at TUM - Chair of Traffic Engineering and Control and has now been made published on GitHub (https://lnkd.in/eSswrEYt). With this framework, the interactions of customers and operators can be modeled in detail and different strategies for operating on-demand fleets can be tested.

The software package has already been used for several projects at the chair, such as EASYRIDE and the MOIA accompanying research, and is currently being further developed for other projects (e.g. München elektrisiert, TEMPUS, PLIMOS). Many thanks to Roman Engelhardt, Arslan Ali Syed, Yunfei Zhang, Patrick Malcolm, and Florian Dandl for their contributions.

If you have ideas for studies for which you can use our framework, we look forward to possible collaborations. If you are interested, please contact Florian Dandl.
