AMIUS - Air Mobility Initiative U-Space
Project Description
AMIUS is a collaborative initiative aimed at establishing and evaluating an integrated Unmanned Air Space (U-Space) alongside its associated technical components in Bavaria. The project entails conducting test flights within an experimental U-Space situated between the city of Ingolstadt and Manching Airport. By employing modeling and simulation techniques, the experimental U-Space will be expanded to accommodate more intricate scenarios, allowing for comprehensive testing of the UTM (Unmanned Traffic Management) system. Furthermore, the project will simulate the integration of an Urban Air Mobility (UAM) system within the overarching traffic simulation.
Tasks of the Chair
- Evaluations of the demand potential of the UAM
- Multimodal simulation of the UAM in cooperation with the project partners
