On November 8, 2019, a Chinese delegation from Beijing visited the Chair of Transportation Systems Engineering (TSE) at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany. The twelve senior transportation specialists from the Ministry of Transport of the People’s Republic of China attended the meeting that was held in the office of TSE at Garching. The emerging technology and research in transportation field were widely discussed in the meeting such as autonomous and connected vehicle, big data and mobility, transportation systems modelling and simulation, road safety modelling, etc. On behalf of TUM, Prof. Dr. Constantinos Antoniou presented the most recent research and development achieved by the chair of TSE as well as gave an overall introduction to the transportation program developed at TUM. The presentation was well received by the members of the Chinese delegation who expressed strong interest for future international collaboration.
