What do we offer?
We offer a friendly and warm working environment within an international team. We support in finding accommodation during the whole duration of your stay as a guest researcher within our team. Moreover, we would be happy to explore and fully support your application for the ‘Philipp Schwartz Initiative of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation: Funding for at-risk researchers’, or any other similar alternatives. If you would like to join our team and work together on one of the above- mentioned topics feel free to get in touch by sending your CV to benjamin.buettner(at)tum.de. Based on our capacities we can host a max of 2 researchers. The selection will be done on a first-come, first-served basis
Important information for people from Ukraine:
- Detsche Bahn: You can travel with your Ukrainian passport/ID card to Berlin, Dresden, Nuremberg and Munich. You do not need a ticket!

- Additionally, TUM has established a fellowship program for researchers from the Ukraine to provide scholarships for an initial six-month research stay. The fellows will be provided with office space at the TUM-IAS in Garching, and will also be provided with accommodation for them and their families.
If you are based in Munich and want to help:
- Organize an accommodation for people from Ukraine through Elinor
- Offer accommodation, donate time and relief supplies via Münchner Freiwillige
