From the MCube Speaker Series to the Stammtisch Mobilität, and creative initiatives like the Little Big Carpet event, Miniblock "Steinhuber", and Straßen-Raum-Experimente, the openLAB provided opportunities to rethink urban spaces and mobility systems. Workshops such as the Walkability Awareness Workshop, Mapping Parties, the Spring Break School, and the Citizen Lab @ IAA Munich 2021 further emphasized citizen engagement and practical experimentation in the field.

While the openLAB in its current form is concluding, some of its key initiatives will continue. Notably, the openWALKS series and the Urban Mobility PhD Colloquium will persist as important forums for exchange and dialogue.

A special thanks goes to Luca Scotellaro, the manager of the openLAB, whose dedication and leadership have been instrumental in shaping its success. 

We look forward to building on the achievements of the openLAB Urban Mobility and continuing to explore innovative ways to shape the future of urban mobility.
