We’re thrilled to welcome Noam from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology to the Technical University of Munich as part of her EIT Urban Mobility Doctoral Training Network international placement under the guidance of Benjamin Büttner. Noam brings extensive knowledge and a deep commitment to advancing inclusivity in emerging mobility technologies.
Noam’s research centers on enhancing accessibility for diverse user groups, with a particular focus on Mobility as a Service (MaaS). Her work explores the conditions that would encourage older adults to adopt MaaS platforms, including conducting a Stated Preference (SP) survey to pinpoint key features that could increase their confidence in using these services.
Additionally, Noam is investigating how MaaS ecosystem companies integrate the needs of vulnerable groups into their business models. In collaboration with David Duran Rodas and Ana Clara Caixeta Szymanski Nogueira on the #15minuteCity DREAMS project, she is conducting surveys and interviews with stakeholders to gain insight into the supply side of inclusive mobility, especially in addressing the mobility needs of older adults.
We look forward to Noam’s impactful contributions to developing inclusive, accessible mobility solutions! Welcome aboard, Noam!
