Best Presentation Awards 2018

The TRB Section on Travel Analysis Methods (ADB00) is proud to honor one or two presentations at the Doctoral Workshop with the Best Presentation Awards. In 2018, two awards were presented:

• Jennifer Hunt from the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida for her presentation on "Low-Fare Flights Across the Atlantic: Impact of Low-Cost, Long-Haul Trans-Atlantic Flights on Passenger Choice of Carrier" (Adviser: Dr. Dothang Truong)
• Silvia Varotto from Delft University of Technology in The Netherlands for her presentation on "Driving Behavior in Control Transitions Between Adaptive Cruise Control and Manual Driving: Empirics and Models" (Adviser: Dr. Haneen Farah, Dr. Bart van Arem, Dr. Serge Hoogendoorn)

The awards were presented at the Transportation Network Modeling Committee (ADB30) meeting at Annual Meeting of TRB in January 2019.
