The TSE team was highly represented at the 8th Symposium of the European Association for Research in Transportation (hEART 2019), held from 4 to 6 September 2019 in Budapest, Hungary.
Prof. Constantinos Antoniou (chair holder), Prof. Alejandro Tirachini (visiting professor), Dr. Guido Cantelmo (PostDoc Research Associate), and Christelle Al Haddad (PhD candidate), all contributed to the conference, presenting the folllowing different topics:
-Understanding user adoption of urban air mobility, funded by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy through the OBUAM project
-Forecasting daily demand for bike-sharing using weather data
-Autonomous public transport: more frequent services, smaller vehicles, reduced fare and reduced subsidy
-Fixing the number of vehicles and/or setting a tax for ride-hailing: Insights from a social welfare maximisation approach
