Leader - Constantinos Antoniou
Constantinos Antoniou is a Full Professor in the Chair of Transportation Systems Engineering at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany. He holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering from NTUA (1995), a MS in Transportation (1997) and a PhD in Transportation Systems (2004), both from MIT. His research focuses on modelling and simulation of transportation systems, Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), calibration and optimization applications, road safety and sustainable transport systems and in his 20 years of experience he has held key positions in a number of research projects in Europe, the US and Asia, while he has also participated in a number of consulting projects. Costas has a proven track record in attracting competitive funding in both national and international levels.
Researcher - Moeid Qurashi
Moeid holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the National University of Science and Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan, and a master’s degree in Transportation Systems from Technical University of Munich, Munich, Germany. His research focuses on transportation modeling and simulation, including DTA model calibration and modeling dynamic mobility services and is currently working under a DFG project 'D-vanpool' focusing on operational modeling and impact assessment of dynamic vanpooling services.

Leader - Hai Jiang
Dr. Jiang is an associate professor (with tenure) and director for the Institute of Operations Research and Statistics in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Tsinghua University. He is a recipient of the Outstanding Young Scholar Award granted by the National Natural Science Foundation of China in 2016, which is the most prestigious award for young scholars under 38 years old in China. Dr. Jiang's teaching and research interests involve advanced consumer behavior models and system optimization methods, as well as their applications in transportation, e-Commerce, and urban studies. He publishes in premium academic journals such as Operations Research, Transportation Science, Transportation Research Part B, Accident Analysis & Prevention, and Operations Research Letters. His research team partners heavily with online stores, railroads, airlines, navigation service providers, and car manufacturers to help them streamline their operations and improve the efficiency.
Researcher - Donghui Li
Donghui Li received his Ph.D. degree and B.E. degree in the Department of Industrial Engineering, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. His research focuses on transportation modeling and scheduling, such as scheduling algorithms and long-term planning of dynamic vanpool services.
Researcher - Le Zhang
Le Zhang received a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Tsinghua University, where he is currently working toward a PhD degree. His research focuses on transportation system modeling and simulation. In detail, he is currently working on designing fast scheduling algorithms for citywide dynamic shuttle services.
