Mohammad Sadrani

Mohammad Sadrani is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Chair of Transportation Systems Engineering at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany.

He holds a PhD in Transportation Engineering from TUM. Previously, he earned an M.Sc. in Transportation Engineering and a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, both from the University of Isfahan, Iran. His research primarily focuses on public transport planning (especially automated and electric bus systems), optimization models, solution algorithms (especially metaheuristic algorithms for large-scale optimization), multi-criteria decision-making methods, and machine learning in transportation.

He is particularly interested in conducting interdisciplinary research to tackle critical issues such as green transport and electrification, contributing to the future of sustainable transportation.
He actively teaches several courses at TUM, including Optimization for Transportation Systems, Urban Operations Research, and Applied Statistics. Additionally, he serves as a lecturer at TUM Asia in Singapore, where he teaches Decision Support for Logistics Management.
